General Information

Students interested in taking a College Credit Plus (CCP) course must have their letters of intent submitted to the counseling department no later than April 1st.  This is required for all new and returning CCP students.  Students new to the CCP program must complete an online application in order to be considered for any CCP class.  

On March 19th and 20th we will be hosting 2 application help sessions for students interested in registering for CCP courses that occur on our campus.  These help sessions will occur during advisory time.

CCP Digital Resources


Our annual Junior Exploration Day will be held on the afternoon of April 23rd. At this event, Juniors will attend a variety of sessions to explore the various career options available to them post high school. Sessions will include speakers from local employers, colleges, military branches, apprenticeship, trade programs, and more! If you would like to represent your company and share employment opportunities with the junior class please reach out to Virginia Schueler at vschueler@nwlsd.org

College Corner

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash campus will be hosting a College Credit Plus (CCP) Information Session on March 8th from 1-4:30pm. This is for students and families interested in participating in the CCP Program at UC, who may have missed the district’s information sessions. Click here to learn more and sign up for the event. Fun spring break activity! College Prep Day at the Cincinnati Reds Stadium:

  • Date: Wednesday, April 2nd

  • Location: Cincinnati Reds Stadium

Cost: $10 per ticket (includes access to the College Fair and game ticket)

College Corner (continued)

C.R.O.P. (College Readiness Outreach Program) is coming on March 12 to host a workshop designed to help juniors prepare for their college journey. Interested students should sign up through their Class of 2026 Google Classroom. Don't miss this opportunity to get ahead!

Miami Regionals will be visiting on March 25 to meet with seniors who are still finalizing their plans for after high school. Sign ups are on the 2025 Google Classroom.

Testing

All Juniors will be taking the ACT (college admissions exam) on March 11th.  This is a test you can prepare for, and we encourage you to check out these helpful links to prepare: ACT Test Prep links: Ohio Means Jobs and March2Success

Senior Reminders

Reminder, if you have not already ordered your cap and gown please do so before the end of January.  Prices go up every month as we get closer to Graduation.  Visit Graduate Service Inc. to order.

Butler Tech Update

The Butler Tech application system will reopen on March 1st for students who missed the January 31st priority deadline.  Students applying to a program that has already filled will be placed on a waitlist.  Please visit butlertech.org to apply.
